Lindsey aka "Leilia"

Hello! My name is Lindsey, but I am often known by Leilia as well. ;) I live in Central Florida, and work as a veterinary technician. The rest of my time is spent as a sculptor. I love spaniels, video games, sci fi tv shows and other generally nerdy things.

I have always had a passion for art, but in November of 2010 I discovered my love for working with polymer clay. I first began experimenting with creating simple charms and figurine, but since then I have pushed myself to try many new and more intricate sculptures. I am constantly learning new techniques and trying to improve my work.

Art Trades Maybe?

Journal Entry: Thu Aug 27, 2015, 10:11 AM

I'm looking to add a couple new options to my commission types, but I would like to get an idea of how long they might take so I can price them accurately.

So! I'm thinking I might like to take on an art trade or two in exchange for on of these sculpture types.

The first option is a Pupple-styled custom sculpture. This would be a completely custom full body feral sculpture of a character in the style of my Pupple figurines. They are cute, toony, and around 3 inches in size. Examples can be seen here: Husky Pupples Round 2 by LeiliaClay   Corgi Pupples by LeiliaClay

(please note that your character does not have to be canine, either!)

The second one would be a character bust sculpture. I do not currently have any examples of these, but they would be done in the style of my regular sculptures, and probably around 4-5 inches in size.

As far as trades go, I am looking for characters that I think will fit my style as much as I am the artwork that is being offered. I am estimating these sculptures will be priced in the $70-$100 range, so I would be looking for something of a similar value. I will consider all sorts of art, from other sculptures, plush, digital or traditional artwork, don't be afraid to ask!

Commissions do take priority over trades, but I expect to have these completed in 2-3 months time. Please don't ask for a trade if you don't think you can complete your half in a similar timeframe. :)

If you think you might be interested in a trade, comment below with your character, the style of commission you would be most interested in, and what you would be offering in exchange.

I will leave this journal up for a few days, then make my decisions. I will most likely only take one slot per option, so please don't be upset if I am not able to choose you!

Thanks for the Llama, don't remember them from the last time I was on Deviant Art, hoping this is going to help motivate me to finish some of my new sculpture projects!
