Hello! My name is Lindsey, but I am often known by Leilia as well. ;) I live in Central Florida, and work part time as a veterinary technician. The rest of my time is spent as a sculptor. I love spaniels, video games, sci fi tv shows and other generally nerdy things.

I have always had a passion for art, but in November of 2010 I discovered my love for working with polymer clay. I first began experimenting with creating simple charms and figurine, but since then I have pushed myself to try many new and more intricate sculptures. I am constantly learning new techniques and trying to improve my work.

Interests
Hey all! Just a heads up that I will be out of town from tomorrow until Saturday. My husband and I will be in Stowe, Vermont(where we had our honeymoon) to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary!

I will not be checking any of my social sites until I return, so if you really need to contact me, email me at either LeiliaClay[at]gmail.com for sculpture related things, or Lindseyhein[at]gmail.com for anything else. I have one more commission slot available for next month. If you want to grab it, shoot me an email!

Now to get ready for some cold weather, brrr!

If I made more "adoptable character sculptures" (similar to the Buttergi), would there be any interest?

To tag a quality deviant: And you’re it! Quality doesn’t mean that you have a lot of followers, or a lot of messages. It means that you’re nice to other people, and you deserve to be happy. If you get this message, someone is telling you that they love you as you are, and they don’t care how many followers you have. Send this to 10 deviants who deserve it. If you break the chain, nothing will happen. But it’s just good to let someone know that you love them!

I didn't get a chance to post on your page when I followed you (: Just wanted to let you know I LOVE your work SO much! The sculptures, all of them.. are just breathtaking! PLEASE keep up the amazing work ;.;

Hi Leilia, I enjoyed looking at your sculptures. They are really nice. I have a newbie question here: what kind of acrylic paint do you use and what material did you use to create matte/satin finish? Thank you~ =D

Hello! I am glad you like my sculptures! :)  For the paint, I just use acrylic craft paint, my preferred brand is Ceramcoat. For a completely matte finish, I use Testor's Dullcote. It works great, but comes in very small cans that can be a bit pricey. For a more satin/semi-gloss finish, I use Krylon Low Odor Clear Finish-the matte variety.

Hope that helps!
