Luxray Sculpture

Luxray is finished! I was inspired to make him for the 's Pokemon of the Month! I've missed a few months so I had to make it up somehow! XD

Ah, I loved painting this guy, his colors are so pretty! I took some artistic liberties with his eyes, though. I had painted them the way the official art looks, but he just seemed kind of lifeless, so I repainted them to match my style a little more. I think it makes him look a bit cuter. XD

Luxray was sculpted from Super Sculpey polymer clay over a wire and foil armature. He was painted with acrylics and sealed with a matte finish. The eyes, nose and mouth have been glazed for extra shine. Luxray measures approximately 6in from nose to tail and 3in tall.
